institutions

they are not trying to fix the system. they are trying to break it beyond repair.

the institutions that hold this country together—our courts, our voting system, our press, our law enforcement—are being gutted, reshaped, and turned into weapons for the people in power. project 2025 is not about reform. it is about consolidating control so completely that no one can challenge them.

checks and balances are being dismantled. the executive branch is gaining near-total control over federal agencies, turning them into extensions of the presidency rather than independent bodies. congress, meant to act as a counterbalance, is losing its ability to investigate or restrain executive overreach. the judiciary is being stacked with judges who will rubber-stamp every policy, ensuring that even the most blatantly unconstitutional laws will stand.

the department of justice is being politicized. its role is supposed to be neutral, enforcing the law regardless of party. instead, it is being turned into a tool for punishing political enemies and shielding allies. justice is no longer about fairness. it is about power.

career civil servants are being purged. experts who have spent their lives serving the public, regardless of administration, are being removed and replaced with ideological loyalists. the people running government agencies will no longer be those who understand how to make them work. they will be those who follow orders without question.

the fbi is under attack. defunding it, restructuring it, and limiting its ability to investigate domestic threats means corruption, organized crime, and political extremism will spread unchecked. those in power do not want accountability. they want immunity.

voting rights are being stripped away. barriers to registration, restrictions on early voting, and attacks on mail-in ballots are all designed to make it harder for people to participate in elections. they are not trying to win fairly. they are making sure fewer people can vote against them.

the free press is being crushed. legal threats, defunding public media, and restricting access to government records are all meant to make it harder for journalists to expose the truth. when people cannot access reliable information, they can be controlled.

economic power is being centralized. shifting financial control away from congress and into the hands of the president means national spending decisions will no longer be made through debate and oversight. they will be made by one person, with no room for dissent.

state and local governments are being undermined. policies that do not align with the administration’s agenda will be overridden. federal funding will be cut from states that refuse to comply. the ability for local communities to govern themselves is disappearing.

law enforcement is being turned against the public. instead of investigating crime and protecting people, domestic policing is being militarized to silence dissent. protests will not be met with debate. they will be met with force.

public education is being hollowed out. universities are losing funding. research institutions are being defunded. diversity, equity, and inclusion programs are being erased. the goal is to weaken critical thinking, to keep people from questioning, to stop the next generation from understanding what was lost.

they are not trying to make the government work better. they are making sure it only works for them. every failing institution, every loss of oversight, every restriction on democracy is a step toward authoritarian rule. they are counting on exhaustion. they are counting on fear. they are counting on people thinking resistance is useless.

do not let them win. fight for every safeguard that remains. demand accountability at every level of government. vote while you still can. organize beyond the ballot box. support a free press. protect those who speak out. push back in every way possible.

they cannot take everything unless we let them.
